The coming weeks and months at deviantART are going to be EPIC. Everyone at deviantART HQ, and our staff in every corner of the globe, couldn’t be more excited! The Groups system, Portfolio engines, search engine upgrades, easy to customize journals, and other long-awaited features will all soon see the light of day.

To celebrate and spread the word, $Heidi (Director of Marketing) and $spyed (co-Founder & CEO) will be hitting the open road and taking to the sky on deviantART’s first ever World Tour! We’ll be visiting cities around the world with large concentrations of deviants, as reported by our statistic tracking software, Google Analytics, and are eager to meet deviants in their local environments.

In each city, we’ll be holding deviantMEETS at local art museums, galleries, or parks, with simple goals like gathering direct feedback from deviants, learning which features you value most, and finding out more about your personal deviantART experiences. The Tour offers all deviants the ability to hang out and chat with deviantART core $admins to share comments, ask questions, make suggestions, or just have a good time with like-minded people! Tour stops are totally casual and low-key. $Heidi and $spyed are coming to your city to hang out and have fun. ALL deviants are invited and we’re so looking forward to hear what you have to say!

Where the World Tour is headed?
To stay up to date on all Tour happenings, stop by deviantART’s first official Group at [link] on a regular basis.

#HQ will act has homebase for all Tour details, including information about dates, times, and locations for deviantMEETS, photos of Tour shenanigans, travel blogs written by $Heidi and $spyed, the ability to chat with local deviants, and more. Be sure to +watch #HQ, or take things a step further and become a Groupie! While we won’t be announcing all Tour cities ahead of time, or in which order they’ll be visited, we will give deviants at least four days notice before deviantART #HQ invades your city.

What if you don’t come to my city?
DeviantART is a worldwide community comprised of talented artists and art enthusiasts. While we don’t have the means to bring the World Tour to everyone, we’re certainly looking forward to this initial tour and couldn’t be more enthusiastic about connecting with fellow deviants. If we can’t come to your city, we’re both going to be really bummed out about it, so please continue to deviate and remember, deviantART loves you!
